Terms of Service

By accessing or using YouthLink SVG, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

You must be able to form a binding agreement under applicable law to create an account. Organization accounts should be created by someone authorised to represent that organization. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the platform is lawful in your location.

You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in details secure. Provide accurate information and update it when it changes. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

Accounts may use email/password authentication and/or Google sign-in. Do not share your password or attempt to access another person’s account.

When using YouthLink SVG as a seeker, you agree to:

• Use the platform for lawful personal opportunity discovery
• Treat organization contacts and listing details respectfully
• Verify important details with the posting organization before applying
• Report listings that appear unsafe, misleading, or abusive

If you use an organization account, you agree that:

• You are authorised to post on behalf of the organization
• Opportunity details you submit are accurate and kept reasonably up to date
• You will not submit discriminatory, illegal, or exploitative listings
• You handle applications according to your own processes and applicable law
• You understand listings may require verification and admin review before publication

You agree not to:

• Use YouthLink SVG for unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or deceptive purposes
• Post false, misleading, or impersonating content
• Harass, abuse, or harm others
• Upload malware or attempt to disrupt or reverse engineer the service
• Scrape, spam, or overload the platform in ways that interfere with normal use
• Bypass access controls, verification, or moderation features

We may review, approve, reject, edit for clarity, hide, or remove listings, organization profiles, reports, or other content. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or create risk for users. We are not obligated to publish every submission.

Content must not include:

• Fraudulent schemes, scams, or phishing
• Illegal activity or content that exploits minors
• Hate speech, harassment, or graphic violence
• Spam, unrelated advertising, or misleading “guaranteed” outcome claims
• Material that infringes others’ intellectual property or privacy rights

Listings are submitted by organizations. YouthLink SVG may review content before publication, but review does not guarantee that every detail is complete, current, or suitable for every applicant. Always verify important details with the posting organization before applying or sharing personal information.

YouthLink SVG’s branding, interface, and platform materials are owned by YouthLink SVG or its licensors. Organizations and users retain rights in the content they submit, and grant YouthLink SVG a licence to host, display, and moderate that content as needed to operate the service.

We may suspend or remove an account or listing when we reasonably believe these terms have been violated, when required by law, or when needed to protect users or the integrity of the platform. You may also request account deletion as described on our Account Deletion page.

Many opportunities link to external websites, email addresses, or application processes that YouthLink SVG does not control. Your use of those external services is governed by their own terms and privacy practices. YouthLink SVG is not responsible for third-party sites or how organizations process applications off-platform.

YouthLink SVG does not guarantee that you will be accepted, hired, funded, awarded a scholarship, or selected for any opportunity. We do not guarantee that every listing will remain available, that every organization will respond, or that the platform will be uninterrupted or error-free.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, YouthLink SVG and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost opportunities, profits, or data arising from your use of the platform or reliance on any listing. The service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these terms or your use of YouthLink SVG shall be subject to the courts of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines, unless applicable law requires otherwise.

We may update the platform and these terms over time. When terms change, we will update the effective date. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
